Ware Priory take the safety and well being of our guests, visitors and staff very seriously and as such have put the following safety measures in place.

Track and Trace

All guests and visitors to Ware Priory are expected to complete a contact details form to be kept by Ware Priory for 21 days in line with the Government Track and Trace Programme unless they have downloaded the NHS Covid-19 App in which case they should scan the QR code displayed.  Forms will be available in the reception area when entering the building.  These should be placed in the boxes provided.

Entry and Exit Points

In order to minimise the contact with other guests and visitors onsite, specific entry and exit points will be designated for each room that is hired.  The event organiser will be informed of these ahead of time

Face Coverings

All staff, guests and visitors will be required to wear face masks inside Ware Priory in the public areas as well as attending a Wedding Ceremony at our venue.  Visitors or guests may also be required to wear face masks during their attendance at certain events – this will be clarified to the specific event booker.

Hand Sanitisers Available Throughout the Building

Welcome Pack

Each organiser will receive a pack upon arrival containing housekeeping information, fire assembly points, WiFi code and toilet keyrings for everyone.

Toilets

In order to maintain social distancing there will be a maximum of 3 people permitted to use the toilets at any one time.  Each guest / visitor will be issued with a key ring.  When they visit the toilet, they should check how many keyrings have been placed on the keyring holder outside the toilet.  If all 3 spaces are in use, they should wait until someone exits the toilet and removes their keyring.  On entering the toilet they should place their keyring on the rack to indicate that they are using the facilities.

Catering

Our in-house caterer’s Seasoned are pre-packing the food so that contact with staff is minimalised whist the quality of catering is maintained.  Coffee stations will have individually wrapped cutlery, milk, sugars, and biscuits.  Any serving bars will be operating a cashless system.  All serving staff will be wearing PPE.

Meeting and Function Rooms

Guest capacities for each of our function rooms have been revised to ensure guests can remain 2 metres apart.
